This website is free to read and there is nothing to sign up for, so this is shorter than most.
Using the site

You're welcome here. Link to any page, quote from it, screenshot it, show it to people. No permission needed.
What we ask you not to do: republish whole pages as your own, attempt to break or overload the site, or use it to harm someone.
The important part
The characters are ours
Orion, Lyra, Leo, Ken, Pollie, Cassie, Nova and everyone else, along with the RyuuMaru name, the logo, the artwork, the writing and the worlds they live in, belong to RyuuMaru. They have since 2018, and “RyuuMaru” has been a registered trademark since 2022.
Drawing them for fun is fine. If you make something because you like our characters and you post it on your own account, we are not going to come after you. That has always been true and it stays true.
What we do not do is host it. We do not run a fan gallery, we do not feature fan work on this site, and we do not accept submissions. That is not coldness. It is that publishing somebody else's work alongside our own muddies who owns what, and we would rather keep that line clean for everyone.
What needs asking first: selling merchandise with our characters on it, publishing them as your own work, or including them in a dataset for training a model.
Please read this one before you send us an idea
We cannot accept unsolicited ideas
We do not accept unsolicited creative submissions. Not story ideas, characters, scripts, designs, songs, game concepts or artwork.
This is to protect you as much as us. We are already writing a lot of stories with a lot of characters in them. If you send us an idea and we later make something that resembles it, which happens honestly and often, there is no way for either of us to prove what came from where. Every studio hits this, and the only fair answer is not to be in that position.
So: anything sent to us unasked is treated as non confidential and creates no obligation of any kind, and we may already be working on something similar. If we ever want to work with somebody, we will ask them directly.
Bug reports, corrections, accessibility problems and press questions are always welcome and are not what this is about.
The boring necessities
Links, changes, and no promises
Links to other places. We link to Twitch, YouTube, Streamlabs and others. Those are theirs, not ours, and their rules apply once you're there.
No warranty. This site is provided as it is. We try hard to keep it accurate and working, but we can't promise it's error-free or always available, and we're not liable for what happens if it isn't.
Changes. If these terms change, the date at the top changes too.
Where we are. RyuuMaru is based in San Diego, California, and these terms are governed by California law.
