Effective 6 August 2026
Privacy
Most privacy policies are long because the company is doing a lot to you. This one is short for the opposite reason.
The short version
ryuumaru.com does not collect anything about you
No account, no sign-up, no newsletter, no forms. We set no cookies. We run no analytics. There are no tracking pixels, no advertising networks, and no third-party fonts or scripts. Nothing on this site is watching you read it.
You can verify that. View the page source, there is no JavaScript on this website at all.
- Cookies we setNone.
- AnalyticsNone. We do not know how many of you there are.
- AdvertisingNone, and there never will be.
- Do Not TrackHonoured by default, we weren't tracking you to begin with.
The three honest exceptions
Where information does exist
It would be dishonest to say “nothing at all”, so here is everything, exhaustively.
- The Twitch player on /watch/That video window belongs to Twitch. If you load that page, Twitch sees the request and may set its own cookies under its own policy, we have no control over and no access to any of it. Every other page loads nothing from anyone.
- Web server logsOur host records ordinary request logs, IP address, time, page, browser, the way every web server has since the 1990s. We use them for nothing. We don't read them.
- If you email usThen we have your email address and whatever you wrote, in an inbox, because that is how email works. We keep it to reply to you. We will never add you to a mailing list, there is no mailing list.
Your rights
Asking us about your information
Write to OrionTheLion@ryuumaru.com and ask what we hold about you, ask to see it, or ask us to delete it. Since the only thing we could possibly hold is an email you sent us, this is usually a very short conversation, but the right is real and we will honour it.
We do not sell personal information, and we never have. There is nothing to sell.
Children: we do not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age. If you believe a child has sent us something that should be removed, email us and it will be deleted.
Changes: if this policy ever changes, the effective date at the top changes with it, and the old version stays in our public site history. We won't quietly rewrite it.
A different site, a different policy
Somatic Heaven is separate
somaticheaven.com has accounts and pages and therefore genuinely holds things about the people who use it. It carries its own privacy policy and this one does not cover it. Its design promises are strong, it doesn't require an email address, it has no advertising and takes no money, but read its own policy there rather than assuming this page applies.
